It was the turn of Bangor’s back division to pile on the points in this game with most of the tries resulting from Porth spilling the ball into their hands. Bangor kept Porth under pressure for all of the first half running in 5 tries from winger Liam Owen, scrum half Meurig Thomas, flanker Declan Jones and centres Carwyn Roberts and Gwyn Roberts.
The second half turned out to be more difficult for the citizens and it was Porthmadog who had the territorial advantage and possession in a long period of scrappy play. However indiscipline led to penalties followed by being marched back 10 metres for back chat and this eventually led to two cards being show. Bangor ran in 5 more tries mostly from deep in their own half, these coming from Centre Calvin Williams (2) with Liam Owen and Gwyn Roberts getting their second. Forward Sean Kelly also scored from a line out maul. Porthmadog did convert one bout of wrestling into a try with Ben Humphreys getting the ball down. Liam Owen added 5 conversions and Gwyn Roberts another.
